Hualien

Shitiping is a famous natural attraction located on the eastern coast of Hualien County, Taiwan, in Fengbin Township. This area is renowned for its unique geological features. Shitiping is characterized by magnificent landscapes formed from uplifted coral reef rocks and marine erosion landforms. The terrain is covered with peculiar limestone caves, grooves, and cracks sculpted by seawater, giving the entire coastline a rugged appearance reminiscent of the moon’s surface.
